Role Overview:

Pegasystems is seeking an Application Engineer to join their Blueprint for Enterprise Apps team, contributing to the development of low-code/no-code business applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and support features of the Pega Blueprint product, which simplifies and accelerates enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in design and development of features for Pega Blueprint for Enterprise Applications.
• Use Pega technology along with REST services, Postgres, and Oracle for feature implementation.
• Collaborate actively with product management and dependent teams to deliver scalable, backward-compatible solutions.
• Engage in Scrum agile processes, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Own component delivery with focus on quality, performance, and seamless cloud upgrades.
• Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) and solve complex use cases.
• Drive innovation by automating tasks and optimizing effort.

Key Technical Skills:

Pega, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST Services, Postgres, Oracle, Low-Code Development, REACT JS (advantageous), Agile Scrum Methodology

Requirements:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of software development experience in building enterprise-level business applications.
• Strong foundation in Object Oriented Programming, design principles, and data modeling.
• Experience or willingness to work on low-code platforms and modern enterprise technologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
